- The Digital Code is a comprehensive framework that codifies existing digital regulation such as personal data protection and provides new norms governing the development and deployment of digital technologies, including the regulation of AI.
- Kyrgyzstan's Legislative Assembly approved a draft Digital Code in second reading (April 2025) and President Sadyr Japarov signed the Digital Code into law in August 2025, after adoption by Parliament in June 2025.
