- French Polynesia does not have an AI specific law or strategy. But in 2017, the French Polynesia government initiated the Smart Polynesia digital action plan, including the Digital Ecosystem Development Plan 2017–2023, to create a supportive digital ecosystem, expanding high-speed internet access, modernizing public administration, digitalizing various sectors, and ensuring digital governance.
