- Based on the available record, the Czech Republic has no comprehensive, binding AI-specific law; its approach centres on the national strategy and sectoral security measures.
- The Czech Republic adopted a National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2030, setting priority objectives and tools to support AI development across academic, public and private sectors, with international engagement following its April 2018 Declaration of Cooperation on AI.
- In July 2025 the government banned public administration from using the services of Chinese AI startup DeepSeek over data security concerns, acting on a recommendation from the National Office for Cyber and Information Security.
