Regulation Status

Armenia has no comprehensive, binding AI-specific national law; engagement to date is through international instruments and policy statements.
At the Conference on Disarmament (February 2025), Armenia's Foreign Minister called for the military use of AI to be ethical, responsible and consistent with applicable international law.
In January 2025, Armenia approved the signing of the Council of Europe's Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, which emphasises accountability, non-discrimination, privacy and reliability.
