Regulation Status
- Armenia has no comprehensive, binding AI-specific national law; engagement to date is through international instruments and policy statements.
- At the Conference on Disarmament (February 2025), Armenia's Foreign Minister called for the military use of AI to be ethical, responsible and consistent with applicable international law.
- In January 2025, Armenia approved the signing of the Council of Europe's Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence, Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, which emphasises accountability, non-discrimination, privacy and reliability.
